Teaching dates Dec 2022

One or two days of lessons with professional woodturner Mick Hanbury in probably one of the best teaching rooms in the UK!

Fully equipped with just about every gadget!

Air-conditioned.

One day with Mick is £150. Two days £250. Pay a deposit to book the course with the amount owing paid on the day to Mick.

Lessons are at Hopewoodturnings turning studio and set up to accommodate a maximum of 3 students (4 on request) 

All precautions are set up to suit today's climate. Students will be asked to bring their own packed lunch but each student will have access to their own area and kettle.

Students will turn up at about 9.30. Lunch will be at approx 1 pm and taken in the Hopewoodturning showroom away from the schoolroom. The day will end at approx 4.30 -5.00 pm.

All materials and equipment provided.

Courses are tailored to your needs from beginners to advanced.

Sharpening.

Beginners.

Colorwork.

Spindle advance.

Platters.

Any special requirements, please say and we can tailor to suit.

 If you book a lesson and can't make it, you can move the date to another available date to suit but if canceled a refund will be made via a HOPE woodturning voucher to the value of the amount paid.
