A great midi lathe
I needed a small lathe to compliment my Stratos FU230, something that I could easily transport for teaching purposes and demonstrations, the FU350 seemed to fulfill all my requirements as, not only was it equipped with the industry standard M33 x2.5 thread on the drive shaft but also with the 2MT centres which meant that I could use the chucks and various drive and live centres on my bigger lathe. This midi lathe is certainly good value for money and suitable for a beginner or a professional, I would be very happy to recommend it.
Great little lathe with large capacity
I opted to buy this lathe as I have very limited space and limited budget. It was £100 cheaper than another supplier. Delivery was very quick and the packaging was very good as proved when the delivery chap managed to drop it outside my home. No damage ensued.
I wanted a machine for larger diameter work and this fits the bill nicely. It's light enough to move around reasonably easily but heavy enough to remain stable when turning out of balance bowls. All in all I am very pleased with my choice and the service I received.
