Stratos FU-230 LV

A superb lathe that is suitable for all levels from beginners to professionals. It is extremely quiet and smooth. It is tough enough to turn large pieces of wood whilst also handling very fine delicate pieces. The engineering quality is second to none, as is the customer service you get from Hope Woodturning.

Lathe and service both brilliant

Lathe is strong and stable, great features that allow for a great range of turning. As with all Hope products I have brought the Stratos is of excellent build and quality. Service from Simon is second to none delivered in two days from order over 600miles away - incredible impressive all round. I look at all the lathes in the price / feature bracket and this is by far the best in my opinion.

What a fantastic piece of machinery, engineered to the highest quality. Plenty of power for turning extra large bowls, but versatile enough for turning delicate little finials.
