A very happy woodturner.
I have spent hours researching the KS range and chose the Twister FU 200 after talking with Simon Hope's staff at the Harrogate Show - I wish I had taken the plunge earlier. I have been pleased with this purchase from the off and was pleasantly surprised from the moment it arrived. The lathe is very sturdy and well made, with no vibration that I had on my little hobby lathe. The motor is really quiet but powerful enough to turn large workpieces but also perfect for any small box or pen turning.
After making this purchase I received a telephone call from a member of the Simon Hope team who talked me through the lathe arriving and how to assemble it - A nice touch that I didn't expect.
Great Lathe, great service
I took advice from other wood turners when looking to upgrade from my small Axminster hobby lathe to something more professional and nearly every one suggested coming to Simon Hope. So glad I took their advice. This lathe is amazing. Extremely solid (took 2 of us to install it!) really well made and perfect head and tail stock alignment (using the supplied alignment tool) the motor is smooth quite and powerful, I can’t see me having any issues turning larger or out of balance pieces. And Simon’s service was second to none, clear and quick communication and fast delivery. I couldn’t be happier.
