"KS bench grinder DML-200N CBN - slow running 200 x 40 mm"
CBN disc with aluminum flange and pre- mounted.
Very good quality , and smooth running due to the robust construction.
The low speed prevents the steel from annealing during grinding.
Particularly suitable for turning tools.
The large disc diameter and 40mm width ensure an ideal grinding angle.
The white wheel is 180G and good for general grinding and also good
for raising a burr in scrapers and negative rake tools.
CBN wheels are suitable for all HSS and HSS Cryo woodturning tools.
Most grinding I find is done on the CBN wheel but I do find the white very useful for negative rake and ordinary scrapers as the white wheel tends to lift more of a cutting burr.

Great grinder, not so great bushing
Had my set up over a year now and the grinder works as it should - it’s still smooth and it’s still nice and quiet. Would be nice if it had variable speed because it’s a bit on the quick side but as long as I keep my chisels cool I haven’t had a problem with blueing. The white wheel runs perfectly true but the cbn wheel has never done so. Not sure whether it’s the wheel itself or the bushing but I do know it’s not the spindle - a different wheel with a ⅝ bore runs perfectly. Disappointing considering the price but I can’t complain as I’ve never given the company the opportunity to sort it out. The wolverine jig works well but it would be even better if it came with a measuring scale on the sliding bar.
