A real confidence builder
I’m extremely new to woodturning, about 6 weeks, and due to the current Covid situation it’s been impossible to get tuition in my area. This has meant relying on YouTube a lot, which is where I saw Simon demonstrating the carbide tools. This is such a great tool to use and has really built up my confidence at the lathe and has allowed me to try new projects that I wouldn’t have otherwise contemplated. I have a number of Hope tools and handles now and have my eye on a couple of other carbide tools for the future.

Easy purchase
What can I say. I looked on YouTube at some reviews, finding the best one to be Simon himself (also on the page of the item) didn't take me long to decide on it, came within a few days, tested it, and for someone who has only been turning for 6 months it's a life and time saver. So easer to operate, and even more so when you watch Simon use it. Already purchased another tool of his so I did come back for more and will again.
