König Holz und Harz is a family-owned manufactory that specialises in producing ecologically valuable and high-quality products for the surface treatment of wood. They are a safe protection and the ideal finish for your turned wooden workpieces.

The brains behind the ambitious manufactory is founder Siegfried König. He has made it his mission to manufacture products from raw materials that are as original as the wood itself.

His claims are not unfounded. Siegfried König is a trained painter. He completed his apprenticeship with distinction in a traditional company and is familiar with time-honoured methods for pre- and finish-coating. When he discovered woodturning for himself in 2014, the resourceful entrepreneur found himself facing a problem. The wood treatment products available on the market did not meet his expectations.

So Siegfried König began to compile recipes for products that met his requirements and finally founded the König Holz und Harz manufactory in 2018. Since then, he has always pursued one goal: to offer the very highest quality! To achieve this, the family business uses elaborate manufacturing processes that allow it to process only natural raw materials. König does not use any synthetic additives or drying agents.
